In collaboration with the Global White Lion Protection Trust, Stillheart presents an evening with Linda Tucker

Stillheart Institute, an educational retreat for individuals, groups, and businesses,  presents an evening with Linda Tucker, author of Mystery of the White Lions: Children of the Sun God, and founder of the Global White Lion Protection Trust. Linda will give an informal talk and show the recently released National Geographic Film “Return of the White Lion.”  She will share her inspiring story of rescuing the white lions of Africa and returning them to the wild.  Book signing and light refreshments will follow her presentation.

An Evening Dedicated to the Protection of the White Lions Highlights

Linda Tucker’s interest in saving the white lions began in her 20s after a trip to visit old friends in Timbavati, a private game area in Africa.  Seeing the majestic white lions in cages changed her life.   Since the early 70s, white lions have been taken from their native habitats and placed in zoos and circuses all over the world.  Others have suffered an even worse fate by being held captive for trophy hunting in the game reserves.  As of the early 90s, the white lion became extinct in the wild and have only been bred in captivity.

Linda Tucker’s mission is to restore the balance of nature by saving the white lions and bringing them back to Timbavati — their only natural birthplace in the world.
